Enrollment Contingency- Teacher Compensation
Memorandum of Understanding

The enrollment count will be submitted to the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) in November 2006. If the funded pupil count (FPC) exceeds 67,982 then the following allocations will be made to teacher compensation retroactive to September 2006:

If the funded pupil count reaches 68,982, a step 14 will be added to the salary schedule with a value of $1,275.  Counts between 67,983 and 68,982 will be prorated accordingly. Counts above 68,982 or below 67,983 will not affect the salary schedule. 

Based on the number of Step 13 teachers who opted into ProComp, an equal amount of money per teacher will be allocated to ProComp to enhance the value of one or more of the ProComp elements.

This enhancement will be determined by the two parties following the submission of the enrollment count to the Colorado Department of Education in November.
