Professional Planning Task Force

Realizing the importance that time plays in the planning for improved student achievement, the parties have agreed to create a Professional Planning Task Force.  Their charge will be to come up with a method for providing additional time within the school day to allow for school faculties to focus on matters related to student achievement and school improvement.

The membership of the Task Force will be determined by the Association President and the Superintendent.  It will begin its work no later than October 1, 2006.   

The Task Force will look for creative means to provide such time to schools during the 06-07 academic year and to develop a policy future years that can be incorporated into the districts annual school calendar.
